The recent article “Mobile Path to Purchase Study” by xAd and Telemetrics reveals that mobile users should be a big focus for marketers. The study’s findings suggest that approximately half of the people surveyed consider mobile to be the most important resource when it comes to making purchase decisions. More than a third of the people surveyed said they use only mobile devices to search for and determine purchases. And more than half (54%) of consumers started their search with mobile, not just turning to it when they already know what they’d like to purchase.
